1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to operate and improve the App:

• Account Information: When you sign up or sign in (via email/password, phone number, or Google account), we collect your name, email address, and/or mobile phone number.
• Profile Information: Your playing profile, including name, batting/bowling style, playing role, and city.
• User Content: Matches, teams, tournaments, scores, ball-by-ball events, and player statistics you create or record in the App.
• Advertising Identifiers: If you use the free (ad-supported) version, advertising identifiers may be collected by our advertising partner (see Section 4).
• Notification Preferences: Whether you allow the App to schedule a daily score reminder on your device. No push tokens are transmitted.
• Payment Data: The App does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not collect or process any payment or credit card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
• To provide core features: live cricket scoring, match sharing, teams, tournaments, and player statistics.
• To sync your data securely across your devices through our cloud backend.
• To schedule a daily score reminder on your device, if you grant notification permission.
• To serve ads in the free version.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud, debug issues, and improve the App.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Firebase Storage), which uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process advertising identifiers (e.g., the Android Advertising ID) and device information to deliver ads and measure ad performance, in accordance with Google's privacy policy and the Google AdMob program policies. You can reset or limit ad personalization through your device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization").

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the App:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and storage.
• Google AdMob — in-app advertising.
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in via your Google account.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with third-party service providers necessary to operate the App (as listed above) and as required by law. Data you share publicly (e.g., match scorecards shared via links) is visible to anyone with the link.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's features. Some data (e.g., completed match scorecards) may be retained for record-keeping purposes. Offline data stored locally on your device (e.g., via SQLite) remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

• Access & Correction: You can update your profile information (name, photo, etc.) at any time within the App.
• Delete Your Account & Data: You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (profile, matches, teams, tournaments, and statistics) at any time. Once processed, this data cannot be recovered.
• Opt-Out of Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time via the App settings or your device settings.
• Opt-Out of Ad Personalization: Manage or disable personalized ads through your device's advertising settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
